"Thank you for sharpening my knives so quickly! I had 4 medium-large knives and two paring knives. They were sharpened 4 years ago and i have one that's fairly sharp but lately I kept cutting myself so I decided to look for a convenient shop to get my knives in, but most of them required a longer wait. A guy came to our building and sharpened all my knives from his car. It took about half hour. I did the paper test and all of the cut through it smoothly. Highly recommend!"

"I'm generally pretty happy with their service! Knives were done quickly and efficiently. I think their ops could use a little work, as their pick up/delivery times were off from when they told me they could come, which made it hard to schedule my day, but overall I was happy and would use them again. Prices were fair."

"Incredible service! I'm stuck between full time work and caring for a new baby, have zero time and (had) horrifically blunt knives. Communication was on point, door to door service and now razor sharp knives (kitchen, paring, bread) are a delight to cook with again. If you cook, you know. Five stars."

FAQ

Good questions, short answers.

What knife brands can you sharpen? +
All of them. Wüsthof, Henckels, Zwilling, Shun, Miyabi, Global, Mac, Kai, Cutco — Japanese, European, American. Straight and most serrated edges. If you're unsure, send a photo.
Standard vs. whetstone sharpening — what's the difference? +
Standard is professional equipment for an excellent everyday edge — perfect for most kitchen knives. Whetstone is hand-finished on Japanese stones for a mirror-polish edge — recommended for premium Japanese blades or anyone who wants the absolute finest finish.
What if I'm not home for pickup or delivery? +
Leave your wrapped knives on the porch (or wherever you tell us) and we'll grab them. For delivery, we can leave them in the same spot if you'd rather not hand off in person — just let us know when you book.
How often should I sharpen my knives? +
Regular home use: every 4–6 months. Light use: once a year. Heavy use or restaurant kitchens: every 1–2 months. A honing rod between sharpenings keeps the edge true.
What if a knife can't be saved? +
We'll tell you before we touch it — and we won't charge for what we can't sharpen. Major chips, broken tips, or warped blades sometimes need replacement; we'll be honest about what's worth the work.
